In the app
- Open Franchise Empire and sign in with the Apple or Google account you play with.
- Open Settings, then Account.
- Tap Delete account, and confirm.
Your account is deleted from our server straight away, and the app signs you out.
By email, if you can’t get into the app
Write to [email protected] from the email address you signed in with (for Apple’s Hide My Email, the relay address works too), and tell us your username. We may ask you to confirm the request from that address so nobody else can delete your account. We delete it within 30 days, and usually much sooner, and let you know when it’s done.
Deleting the app from your phone does not delete your account.
What is deleted
- your profile: account IDs, email address and sign-in provider;
- your username, which becomes free for someone else to take;
- your saves and all their earlier versions: your company, restaurants and progress;
- your gem balance and its history, and your cosmetics and Ad Pass;
- your devices’ push notification tokens and notification settings;
- your entries on the leaderboards.
What is kept, and for how long
- Purchase records. What was bought, when, its price and the store’s transaction ID are financial records we must keep for accounting and tax (typically for up to 10 years). Your account ID and username are removed from them, so they no longer point to you.
- Server logs may still contain your random account ID for a short while, until they are rotated out.
- Apple, Google and Firebase keep their own records of your sign-ins and store purchases, under their own policies. Firebase’s sign-in record for the game is deleted with your account, or on request if it couldn’t be at the time.
The privacy policy describes everything we keep while you play, and your other rights over it. Questions: [email protected].
